It was a 2 day work week. Should’ve been a piece of cake, right? Not so much. This week felt more like a 12 day work week. And the last hour and half of the school day yesterday must’ve lasted at least 3 days. I love my job. I really do. But this girl is tired and really ready for a break.

Within about 5 minutes of being home yesterday I had already put on my pajamas and slippers. I was asleep on the couch by 7:30 and didn’t move a muscle until about 5:00 this morning. It’s currently about 8:00 a.m. and I’ve already had one nap today.

Here’s to a slow-paced, lazy holiday weekend in my slippers.
