Today I am thankful for a wee bit of good luck.

The majority of my day was full of bad luck and mishaps.
I had morning parking lot duty in the pouring rain.
I somehow tore a huge hole in my left sock that drove me bananas all day long.
My science demonstration was a bust, and no matter how hard I tried I could not get my zoomer to zoom. The kids kept chanting “Go Ms. Wiebel go” and I kept disappointing them with every attempt. It was an epic fail.
The on-again-off-again rain we had all day was “off-again” while we were INSIDE the computer lab, but turned “on-again”, in full force, the exact moment we stepped OUTSIDE of the computer lab to walk to lunch.
I spilled a bottle of water all over my desk.
I went through 6 dry erase markers during math before finding one that worked.
I forgot to put my trash can out at the curb this morning, so my stinky trash has to sit and wait for next week’s pick-up.
You get the gist. Some days are like this.
Things turned around at the end, though – kind of like a metaphorical rainbow at the end of my rainy day. My friend Tami and I went to play BINGO tonight at my church. And guess who won -- not one, but two rounds of BINGO? This girl. The one with a wad of cash in my pocket, thanking my lucky stars for a stroke of good luck to end my bad luck day.
