Today I’m thankful for cozy pants and Christmas movies.

I watched my first Hallmark Christmas movie of the season this afternoon.

I slept horribly last night and by 8 a.m. this morning I already knew that an afternoon nap was going to be high on my priority list today. By 1:30 this afternoon I had my sweats on and was cuddled up in a fuzzy blanket on my couch. I turned on a Hallmark movie that I have saved on my DVR and melted away into cozy Christmas bliss. I think my favorite thing about Hallmark Christmas movies is that they are so predictable that you can doze off for a good 45 minutes to an hour in the middle and not have really missed too much surprise action in the plot. Such was the case today. I got a good snooze in, the costume designer and actor fell madly in love while combining their Christmas and Hanukkah traditions, and both my body and mind had a nice restful Sunday afternoon.
